Cabo San Lucas rewards both kinds of travellers: the ones with a list and the ones with a lounger. Here's our current list — the classics that earn their reputation, plus the things we actually do on our days off.

    On the water

    • Take a panga to the Arch and Lover's Beach early, before the boat traffic
    • Snorkel Pelican Rock — rent gear at the marina or let us arrange a private boat
    • Whale watch between December and April (peak January–March)
    • Charter a sunset sail past Land's End — the single best hour in Cabo
    • Fish for marlin and dorado; the marina is one of the sport-fishing capitals of the world
    • Swim at Médano Beach — the safe, swimmable stretch with a view of the Arch

    On land

    • Walk the marina at golden hour with a paleta in hand
    • Eat your way down the taco stands on Calle Narciso Mendoza
    • Day-trip to Todos Santos for galleries and the Hotel California myth
    • Ride camels or ATVs in the desert dunes at Migriño
    • Play a round at Quivira's clifftop course — among the most dramatic in the world
    • Browse Ánima Village at Cabo del Sol, the region's newest dining-and-galleries hub

    Worth planning around in 2026

    • World Wide Technology Championship, November 2–8 — PGA TOUR golf's 20th year in Los Cabos
    • Whale season through April 15, restarting December 15
    • Bisbee's Black & Blue in October — the world's richest fishing tournament

    The villa move

The real luxury of a villa week is doing all of this without a schedule: a chef cooking breakfast after the morning snorkel, a driver waiting after the sail, and a pool that's yours when you decide the afternoon belongs to nobody. That's the trip we build.
